Division I rowing has shaped how I approach everything else: prepare consistently, communicate clearly, perform under pressure, and understand that individual execution affects the entire team.
Digital Transformations and Marketing Strategy
Building meaningful platforms and strategy at the intersection of industries, culture, and stories.
View WorkI’m Jacob Trump, a builder, strategist, and student-athlete at Temple University studying business and technology. I’m most interested in the systems behind how people, organizations, and communities operate, and how thoughtful technology can improve them without adding unnecessary complexity.
My work usually starts with understanding what is actually happening beneath the surface. I research workflows, talk with users, identify where systems break down, and then build the strategy, software, or structure needed to make them work better.
Division I rowing has shaped how I approach everything else: prepare consistently, communicate clearly, perform under pressure, and understand that individual execution affects the entire team.
I build digital products and operating systems around real workflows, using technology as a tool to remove friction rather than add more of it.
I use qualitative research, market analysis, and experimentation to understand the full system before deciding what should change.
I’m interested in building stronger connections between people and institutions, from student organizations to small businesses and nonprofits, by creating systems that make collaboration easier.
Every project here follows the same path. I find the problem, talk to the people living with it, draft something more efficient, safer, and stronger, then build it and put it to work.
Booking, care, and client management software for exotic-pet boarding businesses.
Research, strategy, and design work for a client building an AI tool for workplace feedback.
A redesign of how one long-standing role worked at a Fortune 1000 agriculture company.
A directory and matching tool for student organizations, athletes, and partners at Temple.
An AI system that finds local businesses without a website and manages them as agency leads.

Website redesign and booking system for a highland-cow experience farm.
Ingredient inventory and recipe library for a small cooking club.
I build technology, but I don’t believe every problem needs more technology. Before changing something, I want to understand what is holding it together.
Sometimes the right answer is automation. Sometimes it’s a simpler workflow, better information, or removing a tool instead of adding one.
Talk to the people inside the system, watch the process, follow the information. The interesting problems are usually different from the ones people first describe.
A business, a team, a brand, a community: each is people, technology, incentives, and relationships. The technology matters, but so does everything around it.
Put it in front of people, watch what they do, ask why, change it. The feedback loop matters more than pretending the first idea was perfect.
